Jason Joner, JD
President & CEO, Corporate Trustee
Jason Joner, JD is President & CEO and a Corporate Trustee of Momentous Trust Company and one of the firm’s founders. Prior to founding the company, he served as a corporate executive and attorney with more than 20 years of experience spanning corporate leadership, legal affairs, family office matters, private asset management, and trust administration.
Jason previously served as Executive Vice President of Wellons Group and was a member of the company’s executive leadership team, supporting the strategic management and operations of a multinational organization with more than 350 employees. Earlier, as Vice President and General Counsel, he oversaw the company’s legal, human resources, and corporate administrative functions across operations in more than five countries.
During his tenure, Jason contributed to significant organizational initiatives, managed multinational real estate and insurance programs, supported the development, construction, and operation of large-scale renewable energy projects, and worked closely with company ownership on family office and private asset management matters.
Earlier in his career, Jason practiced law at Miller Nash LLP, where his practice focused on business and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial financing.
Jason earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Washington, and an Associate’s degree from Clark College. He has also served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations.
